[Husker] Staying Put

I disagree. Buffalo had a really dismal, dismal win/loss record. I'm
sure someone else has the exact stats, but Turner winning just a few
games in each of his first two seasons proved to me he WAS ready to be
a head coach the instant he took the job. He did it with the current
players...the same players that routinely won maybe one game a year.
Why is Turner a hot topic in his third year? Because it's JUST his
third year and he's already delivered a division championship
to...BUFFALO! Remarkable. The rest of the nation didn't have a clue
as to how good of a head coach Turner could be. I think a lot of us
as Husker fans did. Did we miss out on a good coach? We know we
did. But we also GOT a good coach. Between the two, we had an
embarrassment of riches, if you ask me. Either one looked like a good
choice. We couldn't go wrong. (So far the Bo Pellini choice looks
good, but time will tell the complete story).
