I dont think there is any reason for TG to rush to leave Buffalo. He has some of his players in place and is recruiting more and has a system that works up there and that the players have bought into (which is a key for any system). He seems to have a pretty good staff with him. Even if he slides backwards a couple of steps next year (say to 5-7 or 4-8) people will still say "well it is Buffalo and look where there were before he got there". He wont be judged on that one year it will be more this year that he gets judged on. If he continues (which I believe he will) to turn the corner out there in Buffalo then he will be even more wanted at the bigger schools.
How many of you who said last year that TG hadn't proven anything in Buffalo and that he wasn't really doing that great of a job up there and he wasn't ready to coach a big time football program are enjoying the crow you are now eating. Tastey huh.

Turner Gill has signed a contract extension through the 2013 season with
Buffalo. The article doesn't indicate whether he could get out of his
contract if someone comes along with his dream job, but at least he won't be
going to Iowa State.
