I think the odds makers will always favor the top SEC team over the top Big 12 team since the SEC is still seen as a stronger conference overall - in spite of the Big year the Big 12 has had. 
 
I just hope that OU does to Florida in 2008 what NU did to Florida under Frazier. Man, was that a fun game! I'm looking for OU to knock the stuffing out of Florida - especially if Tebow wins the Heismann again!

The knock on the Big 12 has been the lack of defense in the conference
but I actually see it the opposite, that there are some pretty good
offenses in the conference, and I'd have to think (at least right now)
OU is at the top of that list.

I don't think Florida has any idea what they may be in for against OU,
but odds makers certainly know a heckuva lot more about this stuff than
I do.

Early lines:

Texas > Ohio St 10pts
Florida > Oklahoma 3pts (The over is 71.5.)

Texas Tech should be favored over Mississippi.
Nebraska should be favored (slightly) over Clemson.
Missouri should be favored over Northwestern.  (Sorry, Mike.)
Oklahoma State should be favored (slightly) over Oregon.
Kansas should be favored over Minnesota.

Other than Oklahoma, the Big 12 team may be favored in every bowl.
If another Big 12 team is not favored, it might be Nebraska or
Oklahoma State.

In terms of psychology, Missouri may face the biggest challenge.
Their season was disapoointing and they are on a 2 game losing
streak.
