Good question!

I guess the best answer I can come up with is that if I had to choose 
I'd prefer to follow the development of young players over their 
entirer Husker careers instead of becoming frenzied over this 
particular game or that particular season.

In other words, I'd prefer the process over specific outcomes.

Pretty lame, but that's it.
