LOL!!!

I have a friend who is a Michigan fan and he admits that Nebraska
probably would have wiped the floor with Michigan that year. A lot of
people mistakenly believe that Michigan played a tougher schedule that
year, but the final records and ratings of their opponents don't bear
that out. I have no problem with a split national title, but to this
day, I have no idea how anyone can objectively look at the results of
that year and declare that Michigan was unanimously better than Nebraska.

But of course, I'm sure it had nothing to do with those facts or the
fact that Nebraska destroyed Peyton Manning + a Tennessee squad that
would win the national championship the next year, while Michigan
struggled to beat Ryan Leaf and the Cougs...it was all about a
retirement gift for Tom!
