WMU was 5-7 playing in the Mid-America Conference in 2007. Their results for the year:

at West Virginia - Lost 62-24
Indiana - Lost 37-27
at Missouri - Lost 52-24
Central Connecticut State (i-AA) - Won 51-14
at Toledo - Won 42-28
Akron - Lost 39-38
at Northern Illinois - Won 17-13
Ball State - Lost 27-23
at Eastern Michigan - Lost 19-2
Central Michigan - Lost 34-31
at Iowa - Won 28-19
Temple - Won 16-3

Their big win was beating Iowa in Iowa City.

Last year they ranked 86 in rushing offense, 31 in passing offense, 57 total offense. 83 in rushing defense, 46 in passing defense, 68 in total defense.

The strong points on their offense appear to be their qb Tim Hiller and a very good receiver in Jamarko Simmons. Hiller is reputed to be a very good qb with a bad habit of throwing picks. WMU will throw a lot this Saturday. Their running backs are sound but their line isn't , however they are playing the team ranked 116 in rushing defense last year so you figure they will try to see if they can get something going there. I think we'll see Bo turn loose an attack style on defense.

The defense has 10 starters back. They weren't very good against the run either so in the words of TO "I expect we'll run at them some."
