The LJS ran an article the other day that made it out like he wasn't that interest in following in his fathers footsteps at Nebraska. I also wonder if at the time of his recruiting he was too set on being a receiver and WMU was one of the few to offer as a receiver while the other big D-1s mentioned wanted him for defence. Not to cut any slack to the previous coach, who probably saw LI as an undersized legacy talking up the good old days while he was trying to dismantle the tradition of Nebraska.

I agree--thanks, Steve.
If Londen didn't appear to be a good fit for the team that's one
thing, but it boggles my mind that Callahan didn't even give Irving
the courtesy of a response.
