FWIW, when I tire of hearing the same topic repeated on the news (radio, TV, newspapers), I try to keep my sanity by reminding myself that the media is going to keep us saturated with some story(ies).  I am just grateful that they don't have national disasters to saturate us with.  I will put up with triva any day!
