[Husker] Joba Hurt

I hope Joba's injury isn't severe. He's been looking very, very good
this year.
In response to another thread about off-topic discussions, I'm on
several email lists where off topic conversations are prefaced in the
subject title with an OT. For example, a typical off topic subject
line would look like this:
OT: Madden '09 Football from EA sports
Easy to hit the delete button without any effort of reading the email
at all. Or set up a filter so that the OT posts automatically go to
the trash if you want.
Some of the OT subjects, though, are just as interesting if not more
than the on-topic conversations! And those lists have about 20 times
the traffic that the Husker list has....no one seems to mind the OT
posts.
I agree with Mike in that list traffic hasn't actually been flooding
my inbox lately, but if people are annoyed with OT posts, maybe this
could be a way to handle it? One reason to do it is that sometimes
there is even disagreement as to whether a post is indeed off-topic in
the first place.
Finally, I'll OFF TOPIC this observation to Jay's signature:
I'm REALLY glad Brett Favre is back and looking forward to him beating
out Rogers for the starting job :)
