[Husker] Spring Game

If anyone is going to the spring game from out of town
beware. The game is a sell-out and the streets in downtown
Lincoln are a mess. Ninth Street is under construction and the
"O" Street overpass is under construction. Arrive early and
don't be in a hurry to leave. The game is sold out at somewhere
around 70,000. Downtown Lincoln shouldn't be a lot different
than during a regular Husker game other than the streets being a
mess.

I used to go to the game almost every year but the last one I
was at is when Crouch was a junior. I quit going because it
really isn't much of a game. As a matter of fact it is pretty
boring. You have to be a fan that is really into wanting to see
how certain people perform and even then the spring game isn't
a real barometer. Regardless of who is the Head Coach they
usually keep things pretty basic. I understand the game isn't
intended to be a great game but to evaluate talent. I'll be
honest, though, by the middle of the second quarter I found it
hard to stay into the game. That is not meant to criticize people
that like it. That is just me.
