[Husker] No Linebackers?

Todd, an even better question might be "Would you rather have Bo Pelini coaching a defense with little linebacker talent or Cos with decent linebacker talent?"

I've been wondering if we even have the foggiest idea of what kind of talent we have on defense.  Can we really go on past performances with a knucklehead as a coach?  It's probably the overealous optimist in me' but I have a feeling that  we're going to be pleasantly surprised with the talent once it's finally put to good use.

Recently I've read over and over on this list that we will be challanged at linebacker this year, or more like "we have no linebackers."
   
  Last year all I heard was the guys we had were too slow and always out of position.
   
  Is having no linebackers worse than having slow linebackers who are always out of position?
