And there in lies the REAL problem.? We as humans feel the need to reply to that one poster - while all along we know that it will do no good in swaying the position and we know deep down everyone agrees with us and not him and when all is said and done the poster will get in a huff and say he is leaving the forum and then be back in two weeks... and when he returns - someone will welcome him back like nothing happened.? I think this happens on every list I am on!!? I say just post what you want - delete what you don't and argue when you feel the need, but realize that your words will usually not sway anyone - especially about the stuff people are the stupidest about! :-)

I've found that simply adding a mail filter that
automatically deletes messages from certain posters
solves some of that problem. If someone replies to
that poster, it doesn't delete it, but it does help
the negative noise.
