I consider "valid" anything about University of Nebraska sports,
athletes, traditions, facilities, staff and fan base past, present
and future to be "valid" or "relevant."
I know under that by definition SP is a "valid" discussion, however,
I, like others have grown weary of it. Should we rehash Lawrence
Phillips? or firing Frank? or maybe Christian Peters? Of course not,
they've all moved on, we should too.

Maybe a few were, but others definately weren't. They grew very tired
of the continual barrage of negative and often rude comments made by
a few listers. Their expertise and dialogue was "value added" to this
list. I personally miss their contributions and insights! I think you
know as well as I do that many times the negative comments and
rudeness was just because someone could get away with it in email,
hiding behind their computer. Talk to me in person and you probably
disagree but 90% would be more polite with their responses and not as
rude.
This is also water under the bridge, the list has it's own
personality and that will always be true. That personality has
changed over time, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always
interesting, and as you said, passionate about the Huskers.
