[Husker] Posts and Frustrations

Well, since I seem to have caused this latest bru-ha-ha by honestly
asking that a subject be dropped, I will restate my position.

I don't intend to "stifle" valid conversation, or to require others
to only post what "I" want to hear or even subjects I'm interested
in.

I honestly feel the subject of whether SP was a good or bad AD is
water under the bridge. Just like Solich is water under the bridge. I
did change the subject line enough to make it more relevant to what
was REALLY being talked about. The "subject" had changed from
Sadler's contract extension to SP LONG before I chimed in and
commented that I felt it was "enough."

I've also been on this list a very long time. Bob, I go back with you
a long time, and defended you on occasions when you were getting
really beaten up by others on the list.

We've lost some EXCELLENT posters. Some extremely well informed men
and women with a LOT of Nebraska history (our Runza recipe message
string for instance) AND a LOT of FOOTBALL as well as general sports
knowledge (Greg Mays for one). We even lost our meteorologist! I miss
the game day forecasts!

I won't threaten to leave the list, that's what you want. I've
weathered worse comments from listers. I will however, go back to
lurking and continue my delete key freely when some of you post.

Lynette
