Why? Because you are tired of reading it? Well just dont open them. Let those of us who are reading them and engaging in the conversation continue to do so. We seem to be enjoying it.

Let me ask you this. If you are with a group of people and they are talking about something that doesn't interest you do you ask them to change the topic so you can join in or do you find a different group to talk with? If you dont like the thread dont take part in it, start one you do want to talk about, if someone joins then you know others wish to talk about it, if not then they dont.

I couldn't agree more. I know there are those on this list that don't care for what I post. That's okay. I don't care for what they post either. But regardless of what I have posted I have never ever on any list asked the list to change a subject or drop a subject or criticize people for posting about a subject. I always figure if people are posting there is interest whether I am interested or not. I am sure I post to subjects some others are not interested in. Not all subjects interest me either. Maybe there are subjects here that are "old and tired" but they always get response. So what? Evidently some people are interested.

When I open a post and it doesn't interest me, and I can tell after reading a couple sentences, I just move on. It just isn't that hard and that time consuming. I have always failed to see the big deal. I post to those I find interesting and move past those I don't find interesting. However, I just don't feel I need to be telling others what to post and what not to post.
