Okay, I guess I will do this one more time since it is obvious I am not
being very clear. I made the statement when Pederson left the Athletic
Department in its entirety was in pretty good shape. I stand by that. I
also made the statement he broke the cardinal sin of NU sports and that
under his tenure the football program slid into mediorocrity or worse and
that is what he is judged on. I stand by that.

I am not saying by changes he made the Athletic Department improved and
got better. I understand the greater amount of coaches were in place before
he got here. The coaches that were here before Pederson and are still here
are John Cook, Connie Yori, Jay Dirksen, Mark Manning, Francis Allen, Dan
Kendig, Pablo Morales, Gary Pepin, Mike Anderson, Rhonda Revelle, Bill
Spangler, Robin Krapfl, Kerry McDermott, and Scott Jacobson. For those that
want to check me I didn't include Rifle and Bowling. The only two coaches
Pederson hired other than Callahan are John Walker and Doc Sadler.

So, as obvious coaching wise Pederson didn't have that big of affect,
if any affect, on the teams. But, I knew that before all these posts
started. Another way of saying it is under Pederson at least things didn't
go south other than football. And, it appears improvement, however Sadler
got here, was made in men's basketball.

So, I am not saying Pederson improved anything. I am not saying he was
any good. I am just saying other than football when he left the entirety of
the athletic teams, for whatever reason, were in pretty good shape. Don't
take it any farther than that.
