Van Horn was hired by Bill Byrne.  Van Horn left and Bill Byrne put Mike

John Cook was hired by Bill Byrne.  He took over from Terry Pettit who

NU into a volleyball power house.  John has continued that tradition.

Pretty much everything was in place when Pederson came.  But he felt he needed
to do more than just get some facilities built.  Unfortunately, he
overestimated his own abilities.
