    I went to George W. Norris High School from 1964-1968 which is South 
of Lincoln about 15 miles.  For those that know the area it is between 
Hickman and Firth.  Then I was at NWU from 1968-1972.  I was on the 
Varsity baseball team my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years.  Our 
Conference was Midland, Dana, Doane, Hastings, Seward Concordia, and 
Wesleyan.  It seems like I am forgetting one team but I can't think of 
any others.  The "thrill" of the season always was when we went to Omaha 
and played Creighton.  At that time their uniforms were just like the 
Dodgers.  Shoot, to us they just as well have been the Dodgers.  They 
just killed us but evidently our coach thought there was some value in 
playing them.
