     No disrespect intended toward Bo Ruud but I am not ready to say he 
is the only player on the NU squad that could have made those 
interceptions and ran them back.  Another player in the same position 
may very well have done the same thing. 


    Yesterday was a strange game on an overall strange Saturday.  If one 
just looked at the stats and had no idea what the final score was one 
may very well deduct Iowa State won.  I don't see a game on the rest of 
the schedule one could say is an automatic win.  Even Kansas is 4-0 with 
high point totals in every game.  I realize they aren't exactly playing 
top ten teams but we only beat Ball State by one point.  K-State, 
Colorado, and Missouri could easily be losses.  They could be wins as 
well but the point is they aren't automatic wins.
