Dennis Franchione's on-the-field struggles put him in the hot seat, but
his off-the-field actions may cost him his job--with cause.

Frannie was charging boosters $1200 a year for an 'insider' email newsletter,
complete with information on player injuries and other non-public information.
A&M officials apparently didn't know about this newsletter.

If A&M fires him because they feel this put the University in a bad 
situation (Phone call: Hello, this is the NCAA Enforcement Division 
calling.), they may be able to get out of the $10 million or so
buyout clause in his five-year contract.
