I agree with this assessment Skylar. The rest of schedule is hardly
daunting. I think Missouri is getting WAY more credit than they deserve,
although I've only seen one of their games on tape so far. In addition,
the Ball State QB is better than any of the QBs on the rest of
Nebraska's schedule with the exception of maybe whoever they play in a
bowl game.

I think people are worried because they like to know in advance if the
team they root for is good or not so they can figure out who they will
win against and who they will lose to. It just so happens that under
Callahan so far, it is difficult to predict what will happen from game
to game. I am not entirely sure why this is, but I spoke to a few of my
pals in the "coaching world" (who definitely know more than I do) this
weekend and they agreed on three things- number one, Cosgrove looks
lost. Number two, Carriker was a stud who is sorely missed and number
three, although Buddy Wyatt is well respected, losing John Blake may
have hurt this team more than people realize.

I'm not saying we're gonna win out, but I just flat out don't see a game
on our schedule that's not winnable, in spite of Coz. Let's settle down
a little bit and realize we did beat a mediocre Nevada and Ball State
team, went on the road and beat the defending ACC champs and got drilled
at home by one of the best teams in the country. That doesn't equal at
6 loss team, period. Put the gun down, take some Ritalin and stop
watching the tape of this game. BSU played out of their minds and we
were complacent (not an excuse, just reality).
