I must be the only guy on this list that doesn't get statements like this.  I still say we are at 8-10 win team, no question.  I think our defense sucks, no doubt.  But I also think we've got one of the better offenses in the Big XII and one of the best (if not the best) QBs in the Big XII.

Let's break down the schedule from here out:

Iowa State
##########

Yeah, they beat Iowa.   But this is the worst team Iowa's put on a football field since the color TV became big.  Loss to Kent St, Northern Iowa and @Toledo = BAD TEAM.

Their offense is good and will shred our defense, no question.  But they are probably the only team in the Big XII N with a worse defense then ours.

Look at their non-conference:
Illinois - Barely beat the worse team in the Big 11, great.
Ole Miss - A.K.A. 1-3 loss to Vandy Ole Miss?
W. Michigan - Nobody
Illinois State - Nobody

Oklahoma State
##############

Beat Florida Atlantic and Texas Tech in a shootout.  Big Deal.  Loss to Troy!  I'd rather beat Ball State by 1 than lose to Troy by 18.  Against OSU, who knows who's gonna score last, but I'll take the overs and maybe a 55-50 win :)

Their wins were against Montana State, Fresno State (not a great FSU either), and Lousiana Monroe?  aTm got blown out @Miami, and it's in our house.  It will still be a tough game, but FAR from an automatic "L".

@Texas looks tough on paper, but they barely beat Arkansas state and Central Florida (both at home too, btw), hardly much better teams that Ball State.

BY FAR the worst non-conference schedule in the Big XII, maybe in the country.  Central Michigan, Southeastern Louisiana, Toleda and Florida Intl?  We'd win every game 50-7 too!    

They might be good, who knows.   Wait till they play someone good.

Yeah, they were competitive against Auburn (who we found out was WAY overrated, losing to South Florida and Miss St.).  The only other team Auburn has beaten, New Mexico St.  It's in Lincoln and they just aren't very good yet.

CU has surprised me a little and you know they're always up for the NU game.  However, I went back and looked at the two teams they beat, CSU 0-3 and Miami OH 1-3 and realized they just beat bad teams.   This one might be a tough win, but CU just isn't there yet either.

Bottom Line

I'm not saying we're gonna win out, but I just flat out don't see a game on our schedule that's not winnable, in spite of Coz.  Let's settle down a little bit and realize we did beat a mediocre Nevada and Ball State team, went on the road and beat the defending ACC champs and got drilled at home by one of the best teams in the country.  That doesn't equal at 6 loss team, period.  Put the gun down, take some Ritalin and stop watching the tape of this game.  BSU played out of their minds and we were complacent (not an excuse, just reality).
