I happened to catch the Oklahoma State - Texas Tech game from yesterday on
DVR. OKState won 49-45. Unbelievably, that's a 4-quarter score; there was
no overtime. Between them, the two teams rolled up 1,328 yards of total
offense (646 passing yards by TTech alone) and the aforementioned 94
points.

Both defensive coordinators have plenty of "personal reasons" to pursue
other career opportunities after that game. It looked like a 7-on-7 passing
league scrimmage; neither team could come up with a stop until OKState took
the lead for the final time and hung on for the win.

Maybe defenses in the Big 12 are just cursed to be neutralized at the
autumnal equinox ... ? 8^)
