Question?
Michigan was ranked #2 in the polls last year when Ball State almost upset them in the big house. How far did Michigan drop in the polls if at all?

it's been a crazy season thusfar, and we've still got another game in september to play. So here's a question:

On a neutral field, which team would you bet on, App. State (please don't make me spell it all out) or Ball State?

(bottom line, we're still far better off than Michigan, if that's a reasonable standard. And they had a quality win yesterday. And they're beginning-of-the-season porous defense has stiffened. And SC is far better than Oregon. So there's still plenty to play for. but these guys and the coaches better find a solution, sooner rather than later).

ps. and for those you who love to foolishly apply transitive principles to college football, Ball State beat Navy last week (in overtime) and it took a last second FG for Navy to beat Duke (arguably one of the worst teams in Div. 1A) yesterday. Things are likely to get only stranger.
