You are correct, and it's a good point to bring up.  However, I think 
Nebraska is a big enough program that it's unlikely for them to be 
passed over if they are bowl eligible.  Also, I believe the Big 12 has a 
tie-in with 9 bowl games.  It seems unlikely that more than 9 big 12 
teams would be bowl eligible, but this is proving to be a strange season.

Yup, and we can't take ISU for granted either.  They are currently 
sitting at 1-2 and tied with Toledo at halftime, but they did manage to 
knock off Iowa.  I still think we will win that one, however.
