First, I'd like to say: Wow, I'm glad we have Keller. The line
gave him time and the receivers caught the passes. Great game.
The passing game was tremendous.

Second, I'd like to make some observations about Cosgrove. He knows
much more about football than I do, but when Ball State scored (I
think to make it 24-21) and the NU offense took over and was moving
the ball down the field. Cosgrove was off by himself on the side
line while his team was quite a distance away sitting in a group.
I'm not sure if he was giving them the silent treatment, thinking
that would help. I don't know if Pelini is a more knowledgable
coach than Cosgrove, but I don't think he would have been off by
himself at that point. The next time Ball State got the ball, after
NU took back the lead, Ball State drove 80 yards for a TD to retake
the lead. NU gets the ball back and Cosgrove is on the sideline
by himself.

Third, I'd like to know, from someone more knowledgable than I
am, if NU's running game is as predictable as it looks to me.

Finally, I'd like to say I don't like getting my money's worth
at the Ball State game. Has NU ever given up 89 points in consecutive
games at home? Wow.
