[Husker] NU Defense

I just heard on TV someone on the Notre Dame pregame talking about the NU vs
Ball State game say that the Nebraska Blackshirts should change there name
to the 'white-flag shirts' for giving up so much offense.  Nebraska is going
to become a laughing stalk to the national poll takers.  They already hate
Nebraska in the first place because we had a proud tradition of grid-iron
football based on solid running and powerful defense.  We did very little
passing, I don't mind going to the 'West-coast Offense'; but our 'No-coast
Defense' is pitiful.

 

I never thought I would see the day that our offense would possibly keep us
in the game and our defense would be our Achilles' heal.  I applaud our
offense, the list is too long.need to work on that running game with the
blocks.

 

Our Blackshirts need to nurse a 1 point lead.
