I think that it is more of a lack of execution by the players on  Defense.
Octavian and Bo Ruud both admitted to poor tackling execution --- they felt  
that they were put in great positions to make the plays and whiffed arm 
tackles  (using poor technique). Also said that they were trying to hard to make big 
 plays vs. staying in position and managing their gap responsibilities down 
after  down.
 
Coaches do coach BUT Players make plays (or DON'T make plays).
 
Anybody have any insight on Ball State?
