At what point is it fair to say the bubble has burst on recruiting hype at Nebraska?

Aside from Grixby, a serviceable cornerback who's started 30 games, no defensive player recruited by Callahan out of high school has started more than three.

At some point, though, there comes a time when performance is all that matters. Maybe Saturday was a start.


The D is certainly a problem, but so is the fact that BC has invested so much into the O and left the D short changed. LB is a significant worry after the 4 SRs leave, 2 of the top 3 CBs are SRs as well as Green at S.
