[Husker] Green and Bowmam

Why do we need Zak Bowman and Tierre Green?
For one, Zak is a team captain who is obviously well liked and a leader on defense. He was picked by his teammates to be captain even though he was out all last year and was a junior college transfer. He came back from his latest injury 4 weeks early and from what I hear worked his tail off to get back on the field.
Tierre is a team player. He is playing his third position since coming to Nebraska.
They both deserve a little credit for all they do.
Most of all I don't like to see any of our kids hurt even if they are third string! They are still Huskers.

far as I can tell.
I surmise though, are they the best NU has to offer? You just can not make
the same mistake over and over and NOT have someone else to replace the
player with. You just can not have injury after injury and continue to hang
your hat on the guy and each time he goes out......well that's the reason we
are struggling. Just doesn't add up or make any sense to me.
I don't think I am crossing the line, I did not mention the players name. (I
recall the spankings other's have received and I agree) and I will stand
corrected (as I always do) if offered up something else. I mean......Asante,
I loved the hype and picked you as my newcomer of the year and the
difference maker the defense needed. Good grief you looked.......well human.
