Who can you get that is better and do you want to wait
4 more years to re tool? That is always the 64
thousand dollar question. It's quite possible to get
worse with a new coach.
I'm getting old waitng for something positive to
happen. It's not quite the 24 years I waited from
1971 - 1995, but it's getting there.
We Nebraskan's, even the one's who moved away decades
ago feel entitled to a monster team every year. Those
of us who are 45 - 50 years old especially, because we
saw back to back champions when we were 11 or 12 years
old. That sticks with a person.
Nebraska football used to be one of the only things a
Nebraska boy could really count on.
