Nebraska could have played a perfect game yesterday
and still lost to USC.  However, many of the mistakes
from the week before (Wake Forest) carried over to the
USC game. (Not to mention games from previous
years...)  If they aren't rectified, another opponent
may take advantage of them.

USC is a great team, but Nebraska gave a horrible
effort on defense.  Just because the opponent has
superior talent doesn't excuse our poor play.
