I wasn't meaning to imply that those two losses were all Frosty's fault.  He
only lost twice in his two years of starting, it's more that those 2 losses
were sandwiched by 3 national titles making them that much more notable.  I'm
not sure having Frazier in at QB against ASU would have changed the end 
result.
The reworked offensive line was just that.  Against Texas, a dropped pass in
the endzone and NU settled for a short field goal early in the 4th quarter to
go up by 4 instead of increasing the lead to 8.  The defense just wasn't quite
there for that game.  Flu and the departed Terrell Farley helped lead to a
nearly unstoppable UT offense and a gutsy call by John Mackovic iced the cake.

Two losses seared into my memory.  A near miss from playing in 5 straight
national title games.
