What?!?!?

Putting in a true freshman QB into his first game
action and throwing him to the wolves, allowing him to
turn the ball over 5 times was NOT "playing to win". 
I don't know what it was (and can still come up with a
few choice expressions I used that night), but believe
me, it was as far from "playing to win" as you
possibly can get.
