Do you really expect USC to go undefeated every year just because they 
have a top 5 recruiting class?  Anamolies are going to happen from time 
to time.  You need not look any further than the 1996 Nebraska team.  
Like USC in 2006, they were transitioning a "new" quarterback into the 
system and there were some noticable bumps along the way.  Most 
noticably, we lost to a Texas team that wound up finishing the season at 
8-5.  Stuff like that is going to happen.  Teams are going to have 
off-games.
