[Husker] It was a win on the road

It has to be a good psychological win for the team. Our offense needs to be
firing on all cylinders next week against USC; sloppy execution will kill us
I think. I am glad it will be a home game next week. After taking in the
whole game I felt the team played with heart, they may have tried too hard
and over played themselves; especially on defense with the misdirection
plays. It was definitely a good experience game for the starters and
playing in the heat toughened up for next week. Rotation looked good during
the game and I thought the O-line protected the Q-back well during the game,
I couldn't understand why the announcer kept saying he was being pressured
to throw. The middle of the line looked tough and I thought our rush was
pretty good, but we just looked a little loose today and not as confident as
we did last week.

I think the coaches have plenty of time to review what went wrong this week,
I don't think it is a major overhaul but a little tweaking. That last drive
to end the first half was incredible, like I read in one of the lists
comments," maybe we need to think about it less" and go without a huddle.
The defense did keep us in the game, but I think WF helped us a bit too by
not executing as well.

Oh, and that call that wasn't made at the end for pass interference may have
helped us also. But I remember many times thinking the same thing when I
was on the other end of the call myself, you have to prevail even when the
calls don't go your way.

Lastly, God thank you for not letting me be a Michigan fan and instead
making me a Nebraska fan, the greatest College football fans on earth.

My son is home on leave this week, so I am extra special happy this week.
