Didn't I read that Joba is now close to the MLB record for most scoreless innings for a rookie pitcher to start his major league career? IIRC, Jim Boutin pitched 15 scoreless innings to start his MLB career to hold the current record.
One more full inning and Joba holds the new record if this is true! Can any of you baseball affectionadoes confirm?
