NU 48 - WF 13

They have NO running game (Something like 8 yards on 25 carries last week).
They did put up 400 yds passing last week, but they have ONE receiver to
shut down, he had 15 catches and nobody else came close. We can afford to
bring in an extra DB as I don't think they can run on our front 3/4 + LBs.
They will have a VERY difficult time moving the ball on us.

Their defense isn't terrible, but they give up something like 40-50 lbs per
man on the O-line. They probably will slow us down early a little bit, but
as the game wears on, that weight advantage will catch up to them. They'll
get sick of being smashed by a guy a lot bigger than them and then trying to
tackle a QC or ML. The holes will start to get wider and wider and NU will
run away with it. Their secondary is very average (per their own admission)
and our receivers should be able to get open fairly often (and hopefully
hold on to the ball).

Really, I don't know why they even play the games, they could just ask me :)

GBR!

Jean,

I am not concerned at all. I think this year's squad is much better and has

the chemistry that Callahan has worked for 4 years to put together. I think

we not only will beat whoever they put on the field, but I think we will win

by 20 or more points. Yes, I think we are that good.

NU 27 Wake Forest 7...maybe more...

I also think USC is looking past us. I think this game comes down to a
blink of the eye. Callahan needs a signature win and my gut says he'll get
one.

I haven't had this kind of confidence in many years...a special season is
here, ride the wave...just ride the wave.
