There were a fair number of rule changes, designed to shorten the time it
takes to play a game, no doubt influenced by TV.

That fifth rule? I'm guessing that means the refs are putting the ball
into play and starting the play clock faster than before. Doesn't say
that, but.... it sured seemed like it Saturday.
