>>> Ali Kunalic's 46 yard field goal appeared from height and distance
that it might have cleared the ball from 56 yards out. That fact will
have a direct bearing on how opponents' defensive coordinators
prepare their game plans against the Huskers.

Excellent points Steve. (It's Adi, not Ali tho) :)

I would like to add two things of my own. In warm-ups, he kicked at least 5
58-yard attempts and I think he missed wide left on one. ALL FIVE were more
than enough distance, one of which was 15 rows into the stands. He said
that one time in practice (with a tail wind), he kicked a 75 yard field
goal. YIKES!

Also as important was 6 of 9 kicks resulting in touchbacks, which by the
way, 6 touchbacks lead the nation this weekend. Most returns (from what
I've read) are resulting in about the 30 yard line, again that 10 yards can
be crucial.

Great topic Steve!
