Someone was asking how Helu & Culbert looked when they got some
carries in against Nevada. I don't remember too much about Helu - he
seemed to follow the blocks and plow up the backsides of the O-Line.
Culbert on the other hand seemed very shifty and made some nice moves.
His moves weren't wasting time and letting the defense converge either.
Instead, he kept moving forward while he showed some "wiggle." I thought
he showed some good escapability. I'd like to see him get a few more
carries down the road.

As a side note, when he scored a touchdown it seemed the players most
excited for him and very animated in their congratulations were
defensive players. In particular Steve Octavien get right in his face
and start woofing. I kind of wondered if the defense kind of considers
him to be one of "theirs" and want him back on their side. He's doing a
great thing for the team playing running back because I don't think the
coaches have any intention of making him a long term player for the
position. In essence, I think he's eating a year for the good of the
team.
