I try not to post the day of games, but...
Lucky was out of his mind today. 233 yards rushing AND
the team's leading pass catcher. No offense to anyone
else carrying the ball this season, but let's hope
NOTHING happens to the guy previously known as #20.
A couple of other stats that caught my eye; time of
posession and first downs. Yes, the two will often go
hand-in-hand, but those are dominating statistics.
A couple things that worry me (early, I know, but
still things I noticed); dropped passes and Keller
throwing into coverage. I would also like to see us in
a position where Lucky doesn't have to be the leading
receiver.
I am going to chalk up some of Keller's early gaffes
to nerves. I remember watching him at ASU, and don't
think mediocre coverage reads will be a trend.
A big thank you to the defense. THREE POINTS? Gimmick
offenses (which I think Nevada's is) sometimes give
the 'Shirts fits. That wasn't the case after the first
quarter and a half. Lock down!
Many other observations, but that is what I will start
with for now.
Glad to see Wake stumble. That combined with the
Huskers' performance today makes me a lot more
confident heading into next week in Winston-Salem.
Go Big Red!

Wisconsin, I found THE Husker bar here!
