As for Bob's comment about Randy York, the athletic department hired Randy 
York over the summer to take the lead in the Communications Department 
(something they sorely need), kind of serving as a Super Sports Information 
Director. If I recall correctly Randy was working out of state somewhere 
when Steve Pederson contacted him about returning to Lincoln.

     Thanks Gary,  I thought Randy had moved away.  I appreciate the update. 
Maybe it was because I knew him but I always thought he was a good 
sportswriter.
