[Husker] Callahan's response to Tom's comment

Indeed. Not a very smart statement by BC. This commenter (GAsker) to that
blog post really nailed it:

One might think that, if this season taught BC anything, it would be
humility. Apparently not.

Obviously, even though there is no final decision until the end of the
season, that doesn't mean no thought is being given to the situation in the
meantime. Is it still possible the BC will be the HC here next year? There
is a non-zero probability, but the odds are getting longer every week.

On his TV show last night, BC said, "We're in a hole, and we just have to
keep digging to get ourselves out." First rule: When you find yourself in a
hole, stop digging.

P.S. Now, when you come right down to it, as far as Dr. Tom is concerned,
aren't BC and company "the new coaching staff?" :D
