Well, if that is the case, then yes they certainly could've called
something on the sideline during that play. Dem's da breaks though.

In the OWH Sunday paper in one of the 'bits' pieces it it mentioned,  
and they said it did go on the field.  On TV it also looks like it  
could have at least distracted Sands, although it didn't come that  
close to him.  It appears as if he threw it in his direction.

Either way, shouldn't it be some sort of penalty?  Can a coach get  
away with lobbing things onto the field DURING a play?
