[Husker] NU article in NY Times

The last line of that article says a lot:
Todd Peterson, a junior wide receiver from Grand Island, Neb., said: "It's
tough when you don't win. I know it's college, but it's business at the same
time. There's a lot of money involved. We're feeling pressure."

Seems to me that student athletes should be concerned about school and their
sport. Not sure why money should be a factor to them nor why it should be a
pressure on them.

I'm serious about this next question: How did an attitude of "Business" and
"Money" get instilled into the Husker players (or at least Peterson)? Who
is responsible...Pederson? Callahan? Perlman? the Fans? other Students?
I don't think I've ever heard those words spoken by a football player at any
school...ever.
