Zac weighs in on the current staff. I'd say two things about it:

1) Zac knows more about this offense/coaches than any of us and he's a
Sharp guy and deserves to be listened to. He makes some great points that
Ware worth hearing. That being said..

I have always said there is no way possible for the fans to know more
than do the coaches and players. When Bob Beach says it so what? When Zac
Taylor says it then it should mean something. Great article!

2) I DON'T agree with keeping the coaching staff around, period. I
Really think Callahan's biggest fault this year was not doing something
About Cosgrove. His 'buddy' has stunk something aweful this year and he did
Nothing about it. Our defense is 119 of 119 teams against the run and 107
Of 119 total d. E-M-B-A-R-A-S-S-I-N-G

I think Callahan and his staff are gone more than likely. It sure
appears that way anyway. But, I wouldn't be totally shocked if Callahan
himself is retained. Tom Osborne has never been a fire people kind of guy.
He is more of a let's help them get it turned around type guy. But if I had
to say it sure would seem there would be a house cleaning coming.

As far as Cosgrove I agree with you there as well. The only thing is it
is difficult to make major coaching changes during the season. One can do
things like bring your Offensive Coordinator down to the field from the
booth. But, to totally remove and replace a coordinator is extremely
difficult during the season for a lot of reasons. Maybe you are saying
Cosgrove should not have been on the staff this year in the first place and
there are some indications that is what should have happened. But, IMHO, it
really wasn't until we got into this season it became clear.
