[Husker] What's Up With Cosgrove?

They are really playing well on defense today. McCoy is a pretty fast guy and they've run him down a couple of times. These guys could still come back but I like the way they are playing and what I see so far.
Offense was really hammering the run too which I liked (flash right was a great run). Seems like they are playing to strengths and a little less of the WCO shuffle (little less motion and shifts so far). I would be on board with these guys if this is a real strategic shift. It would show a lot of humility and ability to learn. That would be a little surprising to me, but it would make it more palatable if it were to happen. I did not like the play they just called on 3rd and one though. Slow developing/read play. Up the middle (can't these guys run block?) or a crazy long pass was my call.
As I type that I think about the bind the administration is in at this point. I wonder how badly it would divide the fans if they kept Callahan and company (KOZ!) on? Hard to imagine the backlash really.
Just some crazy talk. Game is shifting a bit as I type this though, I'll send this anyway for internet sport. Why are the texas fans booing the run?

Exactly Steve. Give your guys the chance to be the attacker, the aggressor. Give them the chance to make plays. It generates just what you said...fire and confidence which then fuels more fire and confidence.
