Glen,

Non-binding commitments to sign a letter of intent do no preclude contact
from other schools. It's unlikely that will ever change unless binding,
early commitments are instituted.

As for approaching the recruit with that kind of argument, it also doesn't
seem to me to be something that could be outlawed.

You've probably seen quite a bit of Rutgers coach Greg Schiano. How well do
you think he would fit in as a Nebraska head coach? Hypothetically. Just in
case a position were to open up here someday?
