Thanks for the good post Rob, but I think Big Red supporters are sticking
together pretty well. Some just show it by venting, which is understandable
given our collective dissapointment in the season.

I plan on showing the Huskers support tomorrow by sitting in nosebleed seats
dressed in red surrounded by smug, obnoxious orangebloods and yelling my
head off for an upset no matter how unlikely.

The papers here have the Horns trying to run on NU to shore up their running
stats for the year which up til now have been a mediocre 164 yds per game
Colt McCoy is not a great runner but seems to make his best passes while
scrambling.
The Longhorn defense is stout against the run, but has been vulnerable to
the type of passing game the Huskers run.
The consensus in Austin is that this UT team is almost as disappointing as
our Huskers. The main difference is that after losing 2 to KSU and OU, Texas
was able to get well against Iowa St and Baylor.
They are beatable this year...if the Blackshirts show up.

As a side note of interest, if UT wins it will be Mack Brown's 100th win at
Texas.

By the way, the weather here is absolutely perfect and should be in the high
70s tomorrow at gametime.

Finally, I will add my own 'what ever happened to' the Husker Huddle?? No
word on this from the local alumni chapter and the Alumni web site is stuck
back on the OSU game weekend. Does anyone know where Husker fans will be
gathering in Austin before the game this weekend?

Go Big Red!
Jeff
